Ralf Karlsson

Ralf Karlsson, born in Stockholm 1953. He graduated from University College of Film in Stockholm 1980. He started his work as a film producer for Drakfilm in 1981.

Drakfilm was established in 1974, as an independent production company based in Stockholm, Sweden. To- day it ́s owned and run by Ralf Karlsson. Drakfilm ́s core activity is producing films for corporations and television. The company also produces shorts, docu- mentaries and features.

Since 1974 Drakfilm has produced a total of 16 feature films, 7 major TV series and more than 1000 com- mercials, corporate films, educational filmsav and documentaries. Drakfilm has over the years produced feature films in different genres, including the comedy Who pulled the plug (1981), the family film The se- cret (1990) and the crime story The man from Majorca (1984), the latter directed by Bo Widerberg. Drakfilm produced the TV-series The Angel starring Allan Ed- wall (1975) which was awarded ”TV series of the year”.

Other well known TV series includes the crime series Honest Blue Eyes (1977) and Sinkadus (1980).

Drakfilm has also produced several music videos for international and national artists such as U2, Tina Turner, Lisa Nilsson, Alcazar, Brolle Jr, and Magnus Uggla.
