Helena Danielsson

Producer Helena Danielsson, born in 1966, established Hepp Film in 2003 after a fifteen years long career in the Scandinavian and European film industry where she, amongst other things, worked for the producer/distributor Sonet Film. She also has a Bachelor degree from Lund University in Psychology & Communication.

Hepp Film’s core activity is to develop and produce feature films, TV-dramas and documentaries in collaboration with award winning European talent and has done so most successfully. Recent example include the feature film A rational solution (written by Jens Jonsson and directed by Jörgen Bergmark), winner of Arte France Cinema Award/CineMart 2007 and had it's festival career starting in competition in Critics' Week Venice 2009 and now traveling the international festival circuit successfully. Most Hepp Film's titles have been receiving both national and international awards and nominations, including a nomination for an International Emmy Award for Smiling in a Warzone.

Hepp Film was 2008-2010 a board member of Swedish Producers Association and is one of few production companies granted slate funding by the Swedish Film Institute both 2007, 2008 2009 and 2010. Helena Danielsson is also a member of ACE (ateliers du cinema européen), the national coordinator of EAVE, and is since June 07 a voting member of the European Film Academy. Helena was nominated as Best Swedish Producer / The Loren's Award at Gothenburg Filmfestival 2010 for her work with A Rational Solution.
